THE BRAND CHALLENGE

‘We have extended our tattoo studio in El Nido, Philippines. We need a brand.’

THE DESIGN SOLUTION

Steering away from the typical calligraphy type associated with tattoo culture and creating a clean but decorative serif, that isn’t too excessive or exaggerated. Reflecting the creative yet sterile studio environment.

The new mark can be used as its initial sketch or in its final form. The mark being used in two ways encapsulates the authenticity of tattoo culture and one of the most satisfying parts of getting a tattoo; relishing the process.
